Evidence
See the research behind every answer
Open the citation under any claim and read the paper it came from in full.
Exclusively for dentists
Ask the question you hit chairside, read the answer, and open the papers it cites. We accept dentists only, so the results skip the patient-facing material that clogs a general search.

Judgment
We name the disagreement and the sample size instead of smoothing them over.
Chairside
The same answer works for a chart note or a handout the patient takes home.
How we select the evidence
Trace any sentence in an answer back to the paper it came from and decide for yourself whether it holds. That matters more to us than the size of the index.
What gets in
We store full text only under open licences that permit commercial reuse, so we can show you every passage behind an answer. When a clinical guideline sits outside those licences, we cite its published abstract instead. The rule keeps out good papers along with bad ones, and we accept that trade.
How we choose
We pick sources one clinical question at a time, and each source has to cover ground the others miss. Opinion polls and awareness surveys tell you what clinicians believe rather than what happened to patients, so we leave them out. Laboratory studies stay labelled as laboratory studies, and we do not stretch them into claims about patient outcomes.
How we check
Loading a paper into the database is the easy half. We search each topic with the phrasing dentists type, read the results passage by passage, and count the topic as covered once the new sources show up in an answer.
